Thanking-(deity of choice)- for being where I am, though it would be nice to be totally debt-free, with a root cellar and a new greenhouse and all that. Still, we have LAND, albeit pretty poor soil, and a community that is taking stock and pulling together. Am also reading Thomas Friedman's "Hot, Flat, and Crowded". And can't help wondering if the collapse of the economy is not a good thing for Gaia. She will have the last laugh, anyway.
