Is Garlic powder okay to use instead of garlic

and how much powder, i have 3 kinds , one is more of a white powder,

another looks like a sandy grain, not sure why all 3 look different

though. And what can you use garlic powder for and how potent is it

compared to regular garlic, thanks

 

ps: the white powdery garlic burns my tongue and the grainy one doesn't
