Here is a serious threat to the health and sanity of every person in the

United States. Lyme disease often presents as " psychiatric " and

definitely attacks the brain within 14 days of infection, according to

research done with radioactively tagged bacteria. Lyme is found in the

brains of Altzheimer's patients, and can cause autism--two of the most

rapidly growing disabling conditions in America. It also produces

serious " psychiatric " symptoms, such as mood swings, depression, etc.

Many, many people who finally find out they have Lyme are on one or more

psychotropic drugs because their doctors can't diagnose their

condition--even if you can convince a doctor to test you, the

commercially available tests 84% incorrectly identify people with Lyme

as " negative. "

Doc,Thank you for the information. Do you have any suggestions on what to do about this? E-mail, letters or phone calls to people of influence? I'm far away from Kansas, but am extremely interested in the other facts of these diseases. Eat lots of garlic to keep a healthy immune system/keep insects from biting? How would one even find out if they were affected by Lyme or something like it if the tests are so inaccurate? I don't have any of these problems myself but, I know there's something seriously wrong with our society and at one point was ridiculously diagnosed with fibromyalgia (after numerous, consecutive motor vehicle accidents). Its true Doc about the symptoms, I have a friend who contracted lymes disease from a tick bite, he acts in what could be mistaken for a "deranged" manner at times and is unable to work, exercise or interact properly, he has been told its for life, and it nearly killed him when he first contracted it, and the Drs only found out so quickly because he told them what he thouught it was , its really nasty, unfortunately here in the UK its a fast spreading problem as the climates warm the ticks are thriving. It is NOT something you want people cultivating on your doorstep!

Thanks for those links. I actually read the whole story about Elena Cook's arrest and Soviet-style incarceration in a mental institution. Very scary. And that wasn't even Bush's USA but Great Britain.
