Guest guest
I was wondering if anyone could tell me how I could improve the skin on my face. I've struggled with this since I started having children and it has progressively gotten worse. I cannot use soap or anything else on my face without it breaking out severely. Even if I just use water and a washcloth, my face will break out in what looks like hives if I scrub too hard. When I'm not having a bad breakout, my face is always red in the middle of my forehead, my cheeks, my temples and my chin. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Jacqui

Guest guest
I have struggled with adult acne for over 10 years. I've spent thousands of dollars on topical treatments, cosmetics, and dermatologists. The only thing that helps me is watching my diet, taking Turmeric, and detoxing. I think what we put in our body is more important than what we use on the outside of our body. The Turmeric pills or powder reduce inflamation. Astragalus root pills or tea is also good for reducing inflamation and infection. The pills only help minimally. To have a clear complexion I have to avoid all dairy, gluten, sugar, and processed food. I also consume large quanities of fresh juice (mostly vegetable), and eat mostly raw food sources. It is very time consuming, expensive, and unappetizing. But this is the only thing that really works for me. I hate to say it but I've just decided to accept my acne, scars, and do the best I can. Guest guest
Ah yes. adult acne. The MDs approach really worsen this condition by stressing already stressed kidneys with their dope. To handle this once and for all you would have to eat healthy in the way you said. You say you would rather eat junk and keep the acne and scars. Maybe your body was trained that junk food is good or that sugar gives you energy. You have already found the true solution to your problem. You must eat the expensive nasty tasting vegetables for the rest of your life and you will feel wonderful, look great and learn to love the taste of real food. I could say "do Doc's inexpensive kidney cleanse and you won't have a pimple for a year" but that would be a temporary fix. Medicine is food, food is medicine. Eat only real food and you'll live to be a hundred and twenty. You have found that topical treatments, cosmetics, and dermatologists don't work. You have found that eating good food does work. Give up your sugar, dairy, gluten and most of all your processed food addictions. Another bit of advice is to sweat sweat sweat it out. Guest guest
still way behind, but think i am making headway...lol.....i do not have any problems with my face, except for an occasional breakout...i use baking soda to wash my face...i just put maybe a tablespoon in the palm of my hand & scrub lightly....i do this in the shower so as not to make a mess.....you could also try ground oatmeal, i use to mix the 2, plus dry milk, that can get really messy....you can make a facial mask out of those ingredients by adding honey & yogurt.....blessings--- On Mon, 11/24/08, Jacqueline Leal <j4leal wrote:Jacqueline Leal <j4leal{Herbal Remedies} severe skin problemsherbal remedies Date: Monday, November 24, 2008, 12:25 PM I was wondering if anyone could tell me how I could improve the skin on my face. Guest guest
Contact Doc. Our skin is the largest organ on our body and it is trying to tell you something is out of wack. Applying something to the skin to sooth and/or help reduce the irritation is fine but something else is going on in your body and you need to take it a step further. You need to do some cleanses. You need a colon cleanse and it sounds like your kidneys may not be doing what they need to be doing or are having an overload. Call Doc for a consult, he can help you get to the root of what your body is trying to tell you.
