Guest guest
I am a 62 year old black man. I am beginning to become convinced I have scabies or some sort of skin mite. I itch a whole lot in various and sundry places on my body. I am not a dirty person. I bathe regularly I always considered my self pretty normal in that respect.I have what appears like a mole right on my collar bone and it itches like mad occasionally. I get redness when I scratch myself around my waist , on my scrotum, the itch seems to move around just about everywhere. I have an appt. with the M.D. tomorrow but what I have heard about conventional medical treatment for skin problems is dismal. Anybody have any suggestion for me? I would sincerely appreciate any input I can get on this. Thank You in advance

Guest guest
Dear Pat, In the future, I'd appreciate it if you used both upper and lower case letters when posting. It makes it more difficult to read when it is just all upper case letters. Guest guest
Thank You for the input. Any help is appreciated. I went to the M.D. yesterday and he said he does not think I have scabies. Yet when I look at the places that itch(There are a lot of those places) They kinda resemble what I hear people describe as scabies. The M.D. talked about fungus, yeast, and/or allergies. Now I feel more confused than ever. (and still itching) You mentioned Neem, Turmeric, and Tea Tree Oil. Do you mean equal Amts. of each? Is the turmeric an oil too or is it a powder? Do you know how this would be applied?. Sorry I am just so unsure what to do, and have heard horror stories about people who thought they knew and some of the downright stupid things people did because they lacked basic information about directions to use stuff. I have not had to use a lot of remedies and what is obvious to many is vague to me. Thank you again sincerely for offering a solution. --- On Wed, 11/19/08, Michael traster <michaelpault wrote:Michael traster <michaelpaultRe: {Herbal Remedies} Really bothersome itchingherbal remedies Date: Wednesday, November 19, 2008, 8:00 PM if I remember properly it is a parasitic micro critter...an arachanid I think that lives in dark moist areas... between fingers, wrist fold, anywhere there is a fold of skin. wash clothes in bleachy water.... Guest guest
Hi... Neem and turmeric come in a powder form.. I would mix about 500mg of each in perhaps a half ounce of tea tree oil and apply a drop or two to each site if it was me and see what happened. The amts are approximate and do not have to be too specific..... .................. I seem to remember there being a med called kwell that was used to treas scabies. Not sure but it might be related to citronella... a guess. Guest guest
When an organ is not working 100% the body will use other organs to compensate. The back up elimination organ for the kidneys is the skin. The doctor will make you to take something to treat the skin condition but, it will not handle the cause of your problem as his drugs will not detox and cleanse the kidneys. Do a kidney cleanse. But i am a cosmetician that works with AT and i have some experience in cases like this mostly because it happened to me some years ago. I suspect of a growing alergy to LESS, the detergent put in commercial soap. If it is so, itchiness worsen after bath. If that is the case, you will have to double rinse your clothes with a spoonful ov vinegar in the water. Look for Castile soap for your bath and shower. You will get better in no time. Please try it.
