Guest guest
My 2yr old baby has staph infection on his skin in the bum area. I took him to the MD and he prescribed a sulfa based antibiotic which is not agreeing with the baby's tummy. He had diarrhea and was throwing up all of yesterday (a day after he started the meds). He was taken off the sulfa until he gets to feeling better but I was told by the MD's nurse that if he cannot take this medicine the next step is Glindamycin which is going to be even tougher on the little guy's tummy. We are worried. Does anyone have any suggestions of how to get rid of this thing? Thanks! Mari

I told him to take a BUNCH of vitamin c, we put peroxide on it, collidial silver, and he also took garlic pills. Got him out in two weeks.....opposed to 3 months with normal treatment(he had had a staph infection before and it took them that long before it was resolved) I didn,t have the means at the time to provide him with ozone therapy...as I do now, but I,m sure that would also beniffit...I have seen it do wonders for diabetic legs, and open sores. Guest guest
Pure raw unfiltered unprocessed HONEY, smear it on, put a bandaid over to keep it on, and let it sit. This will very likely work-- I had a series of staph infections in my skin and every one of them started healing up after I did the honey application. It will stop hurting as much and will probably sort of " explode " (release all the pus) and then start healing up. Reapply honey after the explosion phase. This worked faster for me than the hard-core antibiotics I took the first time I got the staph infection. It's important that the honey be raw and never heated/treated. Guest guest
You can google it. My son had one white head and another that was peeled and red in the middle. He also had little red bumps that were starting to creep up towards his back. I took him to the doctor for diagnosis because I had no idea what was going on. Thank you for all for answering my question. The infection is almost gone and we couldn't be happier!!!! Guest guest
Its best to read the label on things like this, if it is raw it will say so. I would think that honey comb would be the good stuff, because if they cooked it wouldn't the wax melt. So yes, honey comb would be the yummy stuff.
