I sure wish I could grow a tree in Pa. just for the nuts. My dh has had skin problems over the past several years and this is a true blessings and no longer need to purchased laundry detergent of any type to use for washing his clothing. They clean great and leave the clothing smelling great also with no harsh smells from the detergents. I also feel for the price that they are saving me money to. For colors it is perfect as it is. For bright whites I often add 1/4 or 1/2 cup of Oxygen Powder and they come out beautifully fresh. Because I do not use dryer sheets, for fragrance (when I want it) I use a small piece of cloth or a muslin bag with few drops of essential oil. Guest guest Posted November 13, 2008 Report Share Posted November 13, 2008 The way that we have been using them with good results is putting 6 nuts in a muslin bag and then for the next load (depending on how "used up" they are) ether adding 1-2 fresh nuts or replacing 3 - 4 from the bag.
