I just pulled a tick off my back which was very small and looked just like a deer tick. I have a red ring where the tick was situated and in a lot of pain. If you go to the doctor for this, they automatically put you on strong antibiotics. I am not wanting any antibiotics because of the damage that they have done to me in the past. I know that cleansing works for just about everything, but have not seen this addressed here before. Also want to thank you for this most wonderful website. Guest guest Posted October 9, 2008 Report Share Posted October 9, 2008 Hi Debbie, I wish you had known to cut an onion in half and place the cut side hard on the spot where the tick bite was! I have used a cut onion several times for bee, wasp, and spider bites (myself and others) and the onion pulls the venom from the bite into the onion! The onion turns green as the poison is being pulled into it (sulphur compounds), and you keep the onion held hard against the bite for at least 1/2 hour. If area still stings/is bothersome/hurts, add other half of onion until no longer turninggreen and all the poison is pulled out. This would have helped tremendously, then the Total Cleanse would have (still would, I'm sure!) been more effective more quickly. Hope you are able to get this arrested before it turns into full-blown Lyme disease!
