Does anyone know what the 3 temple points are? Or Yamato's pts?

These pts are featured in an article in AC Today about treating kids

with Autism.

Thanks Steve

Sorry for the late reply - but I don't think there has been a response

to your question yet.

I have an description of 3 temple points from the book " Jin's 3-Needle

Technique " by Jin Rui, a professor at the Gunagzhou University of TCM.

The first point is 2 cun superior to the ear apex, and the other two

are 1 cun to each side at the same level. They are indicated for motor

impairment because of their location between the pre and post central

gyrus (among other TCM resons). They are used for the treatment of

hemiplegia as a sequela of stroke, but Jin expands their use to

impaired development in children because of the improved blood flow and

nourishment to the brain. The points may be quite tender and cause

bleeding, but a good da qi sensation is beneficial.

As to " Yamoto's points " , you may be looking for Yamamoto's New Scalp

Acupuncture (YNSA), which you can Google.

Hope this helps!
