Guest guest
I said yuan (spring) yuan (source) yuan (abyss) Of course " spring " is quan, and I meant yuan (primordial) Also consider, That, Ming (enlightenment:clarity) references the sun and the moon and these are emblematic of the left and right eyes. An early usage is in reference to Phan ku the primordial (yuan) ancestor of the human race whose " right eye was the sun and left eye was the moon " (I think my L & R relationships are correct). So now we have a link between jing (potential) our primordial ancestor (jing/phanku), the void (yuan:abyss Lu-9), vision, enlightenment, mingmen, destiny...... Now what acupuncture point references phanku? SI-11 Heavenly ancestor. But there s now relationship between BL-1 and SI-11! But they are both part of the TAIYANG channel. Great brightness, the sun, the absolute, enlightenment. The connection between HEAVEN, Humanity (Phanku), and the manifestation of potential (jing) and the fulfillment of destiny. Instead of pointing to structures (the appearance of characters) and claiming separation.....if one considers the inner dimension of things on can see nothing is separate......not just intellectually but in ones hear. That's the transmission of Daoist medicine unencumbered by materialism. respectfully, Lonny Jarrett
Guest guest
Using this information, since I also study homeopathy and trying to find the significnce in right and left sided symptoms. Could a left ear infection signify moon and be a yin imbalance and the right ear infection a sun or yang imbalance?Sincerely,Patricia Jordan DVM,CVA,CTCVM & Herbology : Revolution: Sat, 14 Jun 2008 14:24:58 +0000TCM - Etymology Correction and addition I said yuan (spring) yuan (source) yuan (abyss)Of course " spring " is quan, and I meant yuan (primordial)Also consider,That, Ming (enlightenment:clarity) references the sun and the moon andthese are emblematic of the left and right eyes. Guest guest
Mm, there was a lot of interesting things said along this thread from all sides. Not sure why, but it reminds me of something told me, " When you can relax and realize your view of life is based on reference points that only generally, passably, resemble what your eyes are seeing, and ears are hearing, and hands are touching; when referentiality is dropped, you can see that the world is new all the time, and you are free, again. Bodies and buildings exist in their own time. When everything including yourself is new and free, your body resonates and the energy moves freely, you start to feel light, complete and overflowing, you can fly, you can know things.
