Guest guest
Hi, I am looking for any information on treating psoriasis with acupuncture. I have tried to do some research but cant find much info on this. I guess in China they would rather use herbs to treat this. I am looking for possible syndromes/differentiations and treatment techniques and suitable points.. If anyone can help I would be very grateful Darren
Guest guest
Darren: I see it as damp heat. I give the patient Long Dan Xie Gan Wan, for a short course until the acute breakout goes away. It has worked very well. I only use patent herbs, and use mostly acupuncture. If you don't want to use herbs at all, work with points that release heat and dampness. Of course confirm it with your diagnosis. I do find using LDXGW with my acupuncture, helps relieve this much faster. Anne -- Anne C.
