Factoriing in a patient's degree of sensitivity to prescription meds.

This was my random thought of the day.

 

I'm sure we are familiar with someone, whether it be a patient, a

friend, or a family member, who reports a quickly/stronger response to

prescription medications.

 

" The doctor prescribed me such-and-such pain killer. Even after he

cut the dosage, I find that I have to divide the pills in half so it

effectively kills the pain without making me drowsy " , just as an example.

 

So the question I have is: Do you find that sensitivity to

prescription meds corresponds, or even factors into, the pattern

diagnosis?

pattern differentiation. . .

 I completely agree with Z'ev. In fact, with patients who are more ill, their

relationship with their medications usually provide critical clues as to their

disharmony.
