Thank you, Alon. In the case of this patient, he had been seeing medical

doctors, and his tests kept showing that he did not have, what he ultimately

ended up with. I will be posting a case history shortly.

Thank you,

Andrea Beth

Remember that legally it may not be enough to just tell them to go, you may need

to actually call the MD and schedule the patient, at list this is the standard

in western medicine.

All-

I had never heard before, what Alon states below - that we are required to make

the appointments for our patients when making referrals. Is this standard?

When seeing an MD if he thinks the Pt has a dangerous medical issue

its considered necessary to make sure the pt follows up with the

referral and most offices will actually make a call for the patients.

the Dr usually talks to the Dr he refer the pt to. When finding a bad

lab test the Dr office must notify the pt personally often by

certified letter followed up by phone call to make sure the pt follows

up with appropriate office visit.

I don't think he was tested for leukemia the first summer he was ill, but he was

tested for Valley Fever - both by blood and by biopsy of a mass in his lung;

both tests came back negative, but Valley Fever is what delayed his bone marrow

transplant a little more than a year later. I do know he had regular CBC tests

throughout his initial period of illness, and no shortage of red blood cells

were detected then, but a year later, he was seriously anemic and diagnosed with

leukemia.
