Herbal Sciences, who I don't know much about, recalled it's formulas

containing ma huang, aristolochic acid, and human placenta.

 

I know that ephedra was banned by the FDA in 2004, but I thought that it

did not include traditional chinese medicinals dispensed by a TCM

practitioner.
