Guest guest
Hello, I would like to inquire about acupuncture treatment for the management or treatment of kidney failure. I have a 40 year old male patient who was diagnosed with fibrous sclerosis of the kidneys. He has bilateral kidney failure and 10% kidney function. The renal scan and renal doppler ultrasound indicate an adequate blood supply to the kidneys. He has also refused a kidney transplant, and goes to dialysis three times a week. Has anyone experienced any success with treating kidney failure with acupuncture. If yes, what treatment plan do you suggest? TCM diagnosis : Tongue : dry , pale . teeth mark Pulse : wiry on liver , weak and thin on kidney Please let me know if further detail about the patient is needed. Thank you for your time and cooperation. Regards, Dr. Khaled
