Guest guest
I have a patient who went through chemo. with breast cancer and did very well. Very few side effects. Now she is taking tamoxophin and is having trouble with hot flashes and poor sleep due to heat. She also has anxiety. Her pulse is rapid and wiry and her tongue tends to be dusky and dry. I have diagnosed her with kidney yin xu, blood heat. I have been treating her with the basic TCM points and she is coming in regularly - but cannot seem to budge the hot flashes or poor sleep. Her oncologist will not allow any herbal rememdies. Any thoughts? Something unique? Thanks, Jessica
Guest guest
Hi, There is an interesting British study demonstrating the effectiveness of the NADA five point auricular protocol for side effects associated with tamoxifin - specially the hot flashes (or 'flushes' as they are called in the U.K.) The five points are: sympathetic, shen men, kidney, liver and lung. For more info on NADA go to acudetox.com. cheers don Quoting pitgyrl <pitgyrl: > I have a patient who went through chemo. with breast cancer and did > very well. Very few side effects.
