Guest guest
you haven't posted the tcm s/s, so it's difficult to project the pattern here, other than yg xu. i like to use ren 9, he sea pts (LI 11: elbow), sp9, k7 sp5/gb40 for ankles along with wu pi san for edema. it takes some time, but it does improve. support kid/sp, obviously, and also look at sj and lu. you know i just took jeffery yuen's latent heat seminar, so its on my mind. he says latent heat goes to the synovial fluid of the joints causing bi pain. he says you must release the ext/flesh: herb: ge gen. he uses shu-stream and luo points for to bring path fx out of the interior to release on the ext. he stresses sj for problems involving d/h. with her complicated presentation, the latent heat must be there, even if she's cold. he also talks about leading fire/yg back to it's source/ming men when cold is also present. he uses large boney pts for this, such at LI15 in shoulder, gb30 and dai channel points, needling towards du 4. herbs for this purpose: sou yang, ba ji tian. good luck & hope this helps, kath On Mon, Mar 31, 2008 at 2:16 PM, bessyg7 <bessyg7 wrote: > Hello, > I would love some input on approaches to treating fluid around joints.
