Guest guest
This is actually a fairly common phenomenon when you start feeling lots of pulses. There are a few explanations, one of the most common being a fan guan pulse, ie a transposed radial artery which will often show the radial artery on the dorsal side of the arm. Often the artery bifurcates and will change intensity between both aspects of the artery. I would check for this before assuming the patient is severely deficient. The ulnar pulses are used a lot in Tibetan medicine. Yeshi Donden's books are a good reference. -- _/I\_ Ross Rosen, LAc, CA, Dipl OM (NCCAOM) Center for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine 166 Mountain Ave. Westfield, NJ 07090 (908) 654-4333 http://www.acupunctureandherbalmedicine.com http://rossrosen.blogspot.com http://rangnangogminling.blogspot.com This email contains confidential information intended for the person(s) to whom it is addressed.
