My patient (MD) wants me to help him to get off Coumadin with

alternative medicine. I want to know if anyone had an experience to

do that.

Any advice is appreciated.

I would suggest to him to research Nattokinase and let him decide for himself.

A good place for him to research getting off coumadin is Gordon's Research or

Longevity Plus (same guy). He has a wealth of information but also a lot about

his products. Clarissa

Hi Tatiana and all,

I'm always saying but it bears saying a few times. If your patient is willing

to put in the time, and understands that he will have periods of easy progress

as well as periods of difficult progress, that he will likely have to change

some " important " aspects fo his personality, then he should be able to get off

the coumadin.

If he is ok with the above, then just treat for presenting signs and symptoms,

treat his CM presentation only, bring him back to balance. As you do this you'll

be getting a better and better idea of what is going on with him and you'll feel

much mroe secure in what you're doing due to better undertsanding of the case.

Actually reducing his medication ought to be done with the assistance of a

cooperative MD, and doesn't need to be done until much later on the course of

treatment.

This is the general " protocol " I use for weaning off of any drug. I've used it

for blood-thinners, lupus / sjogren's drugs, parkinson's drugs, anxiety /

insomnia medications, blood pressure meds etc and so on.

By the way, prepare your client for a down 'n' dirty ride - i.e. please

disabuse him of any notion that he will wean off " cleanly " . It may be necessary

for him to resume coumadin treatment at times or from tiem to time as he becomes

stronger.

Hope that helps,

Hugo
