Guest guest
This question came from a patient today. Her friend is insisting she go to Florida to see someone named Cropp who does this FSM procedure - he " cured " the friend and friends husband. Apparently the chair they sat in was a key treatment element, and practitioner also used hundreds of bottles and chains. After 3 - 4 $100 treatments, practitioner declared them cured. Googling this item (FSM) yields little info, other than lists of practitioners (some LAc's), testimonials, etc. I don't see any reference to a specific chair, bottles, or chains. However, there is mention about the practitioner wearing " graphite gloves " to touch trigger points to sense the proper frequency that the tissue needs to heal...??? Huh? One anecdotal story is that a man went to this FL practitioner with a dialysis port for kd failure and was told there was nothing wrong with his kidneys. On way home pt fell and days later woke up from a coma in hosp. He asked physician about needing dialysis and doc said there's nothing wrong with your kidneys. (just writing this up is giving me the giggles) The FSM marketing website doesn't list a man named Cropp as a practitioner. It sounds like 2 entirely different modalities (chair/bottles/chains vs graphite gloves/trigger points/frequency) - but not perceived that way by the 2 people who went to Florida to be healed. Pardon me if this has come up before. Does anyone know about FSM? How does it relate to electro acupuncture? Apparently it's a global thing. Appreciate any comments. Guest guest
A mysterious procedure called FSM that requires you to be chained to a chair? Guest guest
Glad to hear its not just us Florida folks being weird and screwing things up again.... :-) Bob Janis3934 <janis3934 wrote: This question came from a patient today. Guest guest
Since I cracked a joke about it, I figured I should at least look into FSM. There is nothing on Medline, but I did find a chiropractor in Oregon who uses it. She has published a couple of articles in chiropractic journals. I don't know what financial interest she may have in the product. If you want to contact her and get more info, here is her web page: http://www.frequencyspecific.com/clinic.htm - Bill Schoenbart Chinese Medicine , " Janis3934 " <janis3934 wrote: > > This question came from a patient today. Guest guest
I went back to her FSM web site and saw that she is marketing the units. She would still be a good source of info if she can point you to the published articles. Guest guest
That's a good idea. I should follow up on that suggestion.
