Guest guest
I forgot to mention that Ellagic acid is an Aldose reductase inhibitor. I have a company that manufactures a raspberry seed supplement that contains ellagitannins, which are metabolized to ellagic acid in vivo. They have known about this property since 1976 BUT one cannot patent a natural substance so people have lost their eyesight and extremities and suffered kidney damage and neuropathy for no reason except that pharmaceutical companies wanted to produce a synthetic form they could patent and sell. Unfortunately, what they have been able to produce so far causes severe liver damage. Anyway, there are many papers available...just use the search words ellagic acid and aldose reductase inhibition. In addition, I have written several lay accessible papers geared towards humans and animals that I would be most happy to share. Kindest regards, Susan **************Start the year off right.
