Guest guest
Anyone with experience treating rosacea? Is it considered damp-heat? My patient has gotten something topical (natural ingredients) for it, but I wondered if there's a patent formula she can take internally. Also, would acupuncture be of some help, or is herbal the primary treatment? Lastly, what is the prognosis with TCM treatment? Thanks much. Guest guest
a couple quick thoughts -- Huang Lian Jie Du Wan is a good one to try. (assuming Tongue/Pulse/Sx fit, of course. otherwise, obviously treat what you see.) Diet will have huge impact on prognosis. avoid spicy hot food, shellfish, alcohol, processed/sugary foods, etc... also important to promote BM and digestive health. -- Edith Chan, L.Ac.
