Whilst doing my internship for 6 months in Beijing in 2004, i was

lucky enough to follow a leading stroke specialist, Dr Bai, at the

prestigious Zhong Ri hospital (Sino Japan Friendship hospital). She

used a lot of scalp acupuncture as well as other treatments. Her

success rate was very good; hence she was the most expensive and

busiest doctor in the acupuncture ward.

After completing my internship i stayed on and took private teaching

from her and learnt abdominal acupuncture and stroke treatment. For

half a day (they don't tend to work in the afternoons) teaching and

without an interpreter it cost me $300 for 3 weeks. Of course,

accommodation and an interpreter will be extra. They may offer you

afternoon lectures but I wouldn't bother taking them.

If anyone is interested, contact me off list.
