The Chinese Medical Science Foundation is now accepting applications for the

2008

Acupuncture Fellowship Program (AFP).

 

We are seeking 10 to 15 New York State licensed acupuncturists to become fellows

in our

integrative medicine program at St. Vincent Hospital Manhattan. The program will

include

training in the Rehabilitation and Internal Medicine Departments, and possibly

others.

 

 

Some highlights:

 

 

Fellows spend one day a week (Monday or Wednesday) for one year at St.

Vincent's,

treating up to 6 patients per day

Fellows collaborate with the hospital's healthcare team (Physicians, Nurses,

PTs, OTs, etc.)

 

 

Fellows will rotate between inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as

between

departments

 

 

Target patient populations include: Post-stroke, Orthopedic, Pain management,

Geriatric,

and Oncology patients

 

 

Application deadline: January 18, 2008

 

Targeted start: March 17, 2008
