Guest guest
Hi Phil and Rebecca, Their web page is http://www.healthconcerns.com/ I just got a chance to look at their product guide. Phil was right about Unlocking, but it was not the formulas I was thinking of. The guide states Unlocking is useful for " menstrual pain with heat signs, endometriosis, painful ovarian cysts , uterine fibroids, chronic PID, chronic abnormal vaginal discharge, and various stages of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (cervical dysplasia), with heat signs. " The product I was thinking of that can be used as a suppository is Vagistatin. Their guide states this product " normalizes dysbiosis of vagina due to fungus, yeast, bacteria, virus and protozoa. Normalizes epithelial tissue in early stages of cervical dysbiosis. Attacks human pappiloma virus (HPV). Treats vaginal discharge. May also be used for colitis, diaper rash, and oral thrush. " Patterns it treats are as follows: " Dispels toxic heat and damp-heat of Vagina. Invigorates blood to regenerate tissue. " Use as suppository is described as follows: " External: Before bedtime each night, carefully wash all external surfaces adjacent to the vagina. Wash and dry hands thoroughly. Take 1 to 2 capsules and pass under warm running water to soften slightly. Whily lying back, gently push each capsule well up into the vagina, making certain that the capsules are inserted deeply enough to reach the cervix. The following day, expect a slight brownish discharge. For dysplasia, use 1 to 3 months. Do not use antiseptic douche during treatment with Vagistatin. Abstain from intercourse during course of treagment, or use a condom. Do not use during menstruation. Do not apply vaginally if there are irritated or raw mucous membranes. " The guide also states the following: " Cases of cervical dysplasia are usually diagnosed by Pap smear of cone biopsy. This formula should be used for one th three months, and then the cervix should be retested. This formula is effective for all stages of cervical dysplasia. " From what I surmise, Unlocking is for internal use, to accompany Vagistatin, which is for topical (suppository) use, because the instructions for use of Unlocking is oral and the instructions for use of Vagistatin is topical, in this case, vaginal. It can also be used as an oral gargle for thrush. I hope this helps. < wrote: Hi All, Andrea Beth & Rebecca, > Hi Rebecca, Health Concerns has a product that is useful as a vaginal > suppository for cervical dysplasia, but I don't remember what it is > called. You can call them and ask. I cannot find a WWW reference to that suppository but found this: " Unlocking Formula " from Health Concerns: www.holisticchineseherbs.com/healthconcerns/unlockingherbalformula.html These are tablets with: Baijiangcao, Daxueteng, Chuanniuxi, Chuanlianzi, Mudanpi, Chishao, Fuling, Xiaohuixiang, Zhike, Cangzhu, Baizhu, Huangbai, Shengma to Clear bound qi, stagnant qi and stasis of blood; Clear heat and dampness in the lower jiao Used for menstrual pain with heat signs; endometriosis, painful ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, chronic PID, chronic abnormal vaginal discharge, and various stages of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (cervical dysplasia), with heat signs; addresses a complex pattern that may have taken some years to develop. In this pattern, dysmenorrhea or other pathological conditions are the result of damp heat mutually wrestling and knotting with stagnant Qi and blood in the lower burner. Stress, iatrogenesis (diseases caused by medical intervention), poor diet, smoking and alcohol use, and exposure to sexually transmitted disease facilitate dampness and heat to become entangled with stagnant Qi and blood giving rise to a common syndrome pattern seen in American women I cannot find a webpage for Health Concerns but there is an address on WWW: 2415 Marine Square Drive, #3 Alameda, CA 94501 1-800-233-9355 Best regards, 1 Esker Lawns, Lucan, Dublin, Ireland Tel: (H): +353-(0); VOIP Number: +353-1482-7068; Tel: (M): +353-(0) " Man who says it can't be done should not interrupt woman doing it " - Chinese Proverb Subscribe to the free online journal for TCM at Times http://www.chinesemedicinetimes.com Help build the world's largest online encyclopedia for Chinese medicine and acupuncture, click, http://www.chinesemedicinetimes.com/wiki/CMTpedia and adjust accordingly.
