Guest guest
I have a 50 female patient with cc acid reflux. She has had it for years. Happens every day, burning pain around cv-12. Patient feels bloated a lot esp after eating. She had gained weight over the last couple of years and is now overweight. Patient also has allergies, ringing in the ears, slightly constipated. Tongue: sl red with thin white coat with some red dots, pulse is sl weak, wiry on left & slip- wiry on right. SHe reports metallic taste, which I have been told to equate to bitter in mouth. Dx: Lv-Sp, phlegm & heat. I'm thinking of giving her a granule combo of shugan & er chen wan, possibly modifying BP's gastroquell. Any ideas?
