Guest guest
Dr Huang does not use needles, only ear seeds, kept in for 5 days, let 'breathe' a day or so, then repeat. sami > all needles in both ears? retained for how long? how often is treatment? > tx > Karen >
Guest guest
That's a lot of seeds! No doubt there's another dozen points listed as a quote unquote _protocol_ in Oleson's books. (By the way, why does anyone's recipe of points deserve to be called a protocol?) Which in my view makes it just about worthless information. The most important thing in auricular (as in body acupuncture) is to have methods to determine what points to use, and usually the fewer at a time the better. Nogier's methods got incredibly elaborate as the work became known as auriculomedicine, but at minimum, you need to establish if there is something significant about a point's reactivity or it's Effect on pulse, pain, distal reflex, etc. Otherwise you might as well just needle or microstim all 1000 some points, so you make sure you don't miss any. That way you don't need knowledge or skill, but it probably helps if you're a good talker with a charming personality, good looks, a nice car, and overpriced seminars! just my biased opinion Joe Reid jreidomd.blogspot.com ******** > Auricular Treatment for Obesity > by Dr. Li-Chun Huang > 1.
