Soul, Hun and Shen in pictures ?

Dear all colleagues,

These intangible things soul, hun and shen always start my curiosity.

I try to imagines them in all angels and draw some pictures about

them so all or some of us can see eventhough I do not know precisely

how they looklike?

Here is one :

A good famous TCM in old times was invited into the palace to treat

his King's illness. Looked at the appearance, postures and the

surrounding of his King's and he said " This cannot be cured. " No

pulse taking, no tounge, no history nor background taken " . The King

was young and healthy in his 40. The King's advisor asked, " What is

the problem ? and why this cannot be cured? " ... TCM said, " Our

majesty was so deep in pleasures, beauty, alcohol, his spirit is about

to leave. There is no cure. "

Does this picute give us some clues ? No pulse, no tongue, no

smelling, no inquiries were taking. TCM just saw his King from a

distance and in a close up. The King was deep in pleasures and sex,

his spirit was ruined and appeared on his postures, movements and

appearance. This spirit here is one but included his Shen and soul

Shen, soul and hun are three but one. Sometimes it manifests in one

phase, another in two , and other in all.

A champion boxer full of vigor after a vigorous training, he is

ready for a fight. His spirit " existes in Po " is warm and very

challenging to face his tough opponent. Unfortunately, in a ring was a

hungry tiger instead of a proposed fighter...... He would be gunned

down if he backed out. In this case, we may see his " PO , soul, shen

and Hun -excitement, challenging, readiness " fells down to the bottom

of the sea.

Another example : Another boxer, instead of facing a challenging

opponent, he faces a young beautiful and attractive girl in a ring for

a fight. She is not ready for a fight , but ready for love a true

love. This boxer " his Will -Shen " will not fight for his heart "

Shen-Will " is broken.

Let's see this one.

A Bow and an arrow was aiming at a target. Because we understood

what a bow and a target and how they work. During aiming the potential

energy is there, I called this the Hun " the energy of all 3 " . Then

the bow was released its tension, the arrow was shot. Before shooting,

the arrow was fully prepared ( full of shen, soul and hun ). When the

arrow was in the air moving ( the driving force " Shen-moving forward

) I call this the Shen " the driving force " . Before the arrow reaches

the target , I call this the " Will power, not reaching the target,

but it will " ........ In one case, I display 3 immiment sources of

powers " SHen, soul, and HUn " probably mixed-up in terms. YOu may

correct me.

There are times the 3 are counted in diagnosis if we understand

them thoroughly. If there is an upper respiratory infection as in

coughing, itching throat, or some minor pain of arthritis, I think we

do not need to know about Hun, Soul or Shen. However, when it comes to

a threatening life illness, you should know as well as the above TCM

with his King.

 

Another example : A driver and a car....... I keep asking myself :

A car look good but it can not start or move by iself. It needs a

driver " a hun " ....... Am I right ? A good car is not moving forward

when it sees a giant elephant in front. A car backs up, it shows that

the driver is so frightened " His po, courage disappeared, his driving

forward, his Will is gone " . If a car sees a casino, it moves forward

with high spirit, energetic " his Shen is lightened up " ...... I draw

these pictures to show the emotions, the spirit, soul, or hun...

Our ancient TCM drew us all pictures, but we are at lost or our

current TCM professors had never taught us in pictures we do not know

what they look like. From now on, we can see them easier. YOu can draw

your own pictures, can't you ????????????? Look at the appearance, the

status, lifestyle, the geographic region, the season, the weather, the

environment of a patienT, you can draw his picture, and way to prevent

or cure his illness........... I WISH !!!

I thought of pulling back the bow, holding it in tension, tremble, as that

moment in water before you move forward. The tremble of the bow, in the

unkowning about all that is about to happen (the potential).

The three-ness of things.The Triology of being, rolled into one.

For Christians, The Holy Trinity.(see picture?)

How life processes operates in 3D. Man, Animals & Plants in 3D realm.

Heaven, Man, & Earth.

Three-ness of the human body (sanjiao)

3 division of the trunk/main body...lower half / upper half /

head & neck

3 division of limb extension..upper arm / lower arm / hands

or, upper leg / thighs, lower leg , foot,

3 divisions of next extension (hands) 3 interphalangeal segments except for

thumb ( head & neck)

Sanjiao not an organ, but the relationship of the three-ness of existence in

3D.

Mind /Body/ Spirit rolled into one = personality / constitution

/immune system? (maybe)

HERB Shi Chang Pu :Acorus Graminie / Acorus Calamus reflex this image of

three-ness

according to the Doctrine of Signature. (different name/variety? but

pictures are the same)

 

The three threes = 9; next number is one & zero which is 10; number one & a

circle = atONEment,

at one with the whole (religion? Philosophy?)

So, integration of the threes, mind/body/spirit integration? my 2cents.

Shall we disect/ divorce / cut-off one part from the rest because we do not

understand / it doesn't fit?

Lost? " for their ignorance, they will perish. "

and future. Existence of disease

means the physical body is dwelling out of synchronicity with time flow.

Being in sync with time means you are in perfect health. " .....Gurudas (Trace

back to reversal of time...1st BC..zero point..1st AD... life on earth out of

sync with time flow) Guess we're barking at any tree, not just the wrong

tree.

 

Going back to ancient times practices/thinking via OM is an attempt to

reverse time flow. (Change Your Thought, Change your Life?.. Finally, I got

it!...Duane Dyer (inc TaiChi outfit...just kidding)
