It can be postulated that ALL cells (like stem cells) have the blueprint / potential (albeit a latent blueprint / potential) to carry out ANY or ALL basic metabolic functions. --- Hmm. The difference between a stem cell and other cells is that one possesses the potential and the other is already potentiated. I'm I understanding this correctly? y.c.
