Guest guest
Hi David, I thought I'd let you know. We used your website _http://iphone.mindbodycures_ (http://iphone.mindbodycures) to locate points to be massaged in a comatous patient in ICU. Specifically, points Lu7, 10, Ren17, Du15, along with fingertips per Sujok Model. I'm in Fl, pt in Colorado. I directed the family to locate above points according to your website, Sujok hand model, accdg to LionsclubSujok chart. Pt. 33F Dx with Cerebral bleed, 2nd to birth control pill provera + estrogen. Pallative care RN had already made initial approach to family to discuss " no code status " . An RN family member( not employed in that hospital) asked me if there's anything they could do w/o offending the staff. So, these are points I suggested, considering the conditions in ICU. A-Line on the wrist (LU9 area) Swan/Ganz line coming off the chest. ET tube to vent. Staff totally unaware of what family was doing. Was off vent less than 24hrs post initial massaging, switched to CPAP, off all breathing aids devices in 48Hrs No dysphasia / any speech difficulty. Minimal left sided weakness but, I'm confident she'll get full function of all extremities in few weeks. Deeply grateful for you website. A lot of help to non medical/TCM people. Your website had saved a life. amy PS:I'm sorry that I have to post it on the list. I do not have your private email address. ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
Guest guest
Thanks, David. Deeply grateful. Would like to add palpation impressions on DU15 related to dysphasia if not already there. Take care. Have a good day. amy ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
Guest guest
Thanks, there is a lot more coming, but thanks also to Paradigm Publishing (Bob Felt, Weisman, et. al.) as it is their information. I'm glad to hear the work is already benefitting people, though still in progress. I'll be back working more on the project next week. I hope to get the databases complete soon so I can go on to redo tcmpedia.com with the data and the many new features planned. The ability for every one to post their own comments for public or private use for points, herbs and formulas is one of the key features that I will be adding as part of the new tcmpedia.com and it will be reflected in the iPhone and other mobile versions as well. I am not going to completely remove the wiki idea, but going to transform it in to something that is more controlled and practical as per discussions we've had on this list.
