Guest guest
Very interesting Hugo.Do you use the I-ching? I do little I-ching.I trust it.You get better and better each time. But I wonder how difficult it may seem to Westerners, coz # 64 situations are drawn from AsianLifeCircumstances. i.e. " Thirst at the well " How could a westerner relate, if his source of water is from the faucet at the sink. This are conceptual/picturial language, much like the ChineseCharacters in OM books. Otherwise, there must be one in Western interpretation. I'd be curious to see one. I have sticks, but not as precise as the cards. Take care. amy ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
Guest guest
Hi everybody, a few years ago I was looking through a website book catalogue, it may have been one of the bigger chinese medicine distributors, but I can't recall. I remember a book catching my eyes, it had a type of I ching cube ont he front if I remember correctly, the author was, I believe, mandarin, and the book was about how the I Jing represented the genetic code etc. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Guest guest
Hugo, The book is " DNA and the I Ching/The Tao of Life " by Johnson F. Yan, a physicist. It is published by North Atlantic Books, Berkeley, Ca. Quite an interesting text.
