Chiropractor practicing acupuncture suspended by AZ chiro board

Hi All,

 

I was looking around on the Arizona Chiropractic Board website for local

chiropractors to network with, and I discovered that the license of one of the

local chiropractors had been suspended for several reasons, including failure to

follow proper sterilization practices during acupuncture treatments. Other

reasons included doing pap smears and sending a patient to Mexico for snake

venom treatments for lupus. All in all a little bizarre, but I am glad to see

the chiropractic board of my state monitors the acupuncture treatments of the

chiropractors it certifies. I thought this would be of interest, and possibly

pertinent to our efforts and discussions about chiropractors who practice

acupuncture with minimal study.

I think I would prefer chirporactors who practice acupuncture with

minimal study to chiropractors who practice snake venom therapy!!
