It uses needles, inserted subcutaneously in non- scarred areas 2-5mm outside the edge of the scar, to under-run the scar from several directions. (2) Another very successful way is to locate the most sensitive areas within the scar (using probe / match-stick pressure or VAS Pulse) and inject intradermally with a dental syringe & needle 0.1ml Impletol (a procaine- caffeine product, now off the market - see http://tinyurl.com/36msb8 ). As an alternative, you can use any local anaesthetic, diluted down to 0.25-0.5%. This is a form of Neural Therapy [ http://tinyurl.com/3274p5 ] and usually is very successful. Follow up Neural Therapy with 2-4 sessions of massage of the scar AND of the Qi Channels involved. For example, for a sensitive scar on BL channel, massage the three channels SI-BL-KI (SI upstream and KI downstream on the Qi Circulation Pathway). (3) I have used Low Level Laser on the SENSITIVE areas of scars with good results. Laura Cooley wrote: > ... Scargo ... I have seen work very effectively for old and new scars ... I have not used creams for problematic scars, but the Ingredients in " Scargo " or " ScarBan " Scar Massage Lotion (developed by Edgar Cayce) include Camphor, Olive Oil, Peanut Oil, Lanolin, Yellow Beeswax. Variants include other oils, such as castor oil / Cod Liver OIl plus herbs or essential oils to Move Blood Stasis (Ruxiang-Olibanum, Moyao-Myrrha, Sanleng-Sparganium, Danshen-Salvia, Ezhu-Zedoary, Jixuecao -Centella, Sanqi-Notoginseng, Yujin-Curcuma, etc) + / - some DMSO.
