Guest guest
It's a positive start and with positive input.....it improves. Instead of people over reacting to knock it down......let us build it up. At least it is outside the monopolistic-like suppressive system we have had for 30+ years. Competition is a good thing. There is a test that has no guidelines or parameters for studying and they say that if you have attended some " infertility " workshops...if you have atte pass...it will be easy. HOW does that create a standard?? ************************************** Get a sneak peek of the all-new AOL at http://discover.aol.com/memed/aolcom30tour
Guest guest
Mike I always find it questionable when one person dictatorially determines that others have surrendered their rights unknowingly or unwillingly. In a Constitutional Republic such as the United States of America this can not be. Maybe those who share such a philosophy as proffered they should seek to practice in the remaining few Iron Curtain countries that share such a way of life. States do not regulate " commercial free speech " especially if it is not narrowly tailored to a legitimate interest. Richard In a message dated 08/13/07 6:33:40 P.M. When you join a regulated or licensed community you lose some of your rights as a regulated professional. That means that they can and do decide what is proper conduct and what you can and cannot call yourself. I find this odd that you are implying that we simply ignore our own state statutes. States regulate professional boards, not the federal govt. If there was no order then chaos would be rampant. Mike W. Guest guest
Richard, No but your state does regulate you and the practice of acupuncture, like it or not. This is not a freedom of speech issue but a regulation of a healthcare profession that could cause harm to the public. I have worked closely with an attorney in the past on several acupuncture board related issues and I have a good understanding of what my state allows me to do. I am unsure as to why you fail to acknowledge it. Mike W.
