Guest guest
This brings up an interesting issue. I recently found out that we are not necessarily covered under our liability insurance to practice Facial Acupuncture. According to the American Acupuncture Council I was told that I wasn't covered to perform Facial Acupuncture unless I had completed a certification course by Mary Elizabeth Wakefield, Virginia Doran, or " one other person " (I'm sorry I don't remember who that is); and utilized their informed consent form. Therefore if you take a course abroad in facial acupuncture, when you return you may not be covered. You may want to check with your insurer first. -- Peace, David Caruso-Radin, L Ac
Guest guest
this doesn't sound right to me, that AAC is endorsing and requiring coursework from one of 3 instructors in order to get malpractice coverage ofr facial acupuncture. can anyone confirm this statement? kb On 8/4/07, David Caruso-Radin <mindbodyherbs wrote: > > This brings up an interesting issue.
