Hi All,

If you can translate Chinese, or use " Google Translate " + Chinese-English

translation software to attempt their own translations, note that the Taiwan

Govmt has 107 pages of detailed TCM info online at:

http://tcam.ccmp.gov.tw/adhd/reci/reci_main.asp?skey= & org_cname= & page

=1

to

http://tcam.ccmp.gov.tw/adhd/reci/reci_main.asp?skey= & org_cname= & page

=107

The data includes details of TCM Syndromes, Tx principles, herbs &

formulas.

Example of my translation of one piece:

Suanzaoren (Zizyphus Seed): ACTION: Tone & Moisten, Restrain Sweat,

Calm HT:

Combinations: Use Sweet, Sour & Moist Hbs w common Seeds / Fruits that

are all Moist esp to Tone LV & GB; Stir-fry & cook Sour, Warm & Fragrant

Hbs also to Strengthen Fx of SP therefore Guipi Tang is used to Aid Yinqi,

Strengthen Sinew & Bone, Expel Vexation & Stop Thirst, Restrain Yin &

Generate Fluids, Restrain Sweat;

Jingshu says: as medicine to Secure Exterior & in persons w sweating~

endless, use Suanzaoren (ground & stir-fried) w Shengdi, Baishao, Wuweizi,

Maimendong, Zhuye & Longyanrou; Dec is more effective; Calm HT [sweat

is Fluid of HT & HT Governs easy movement, all dt induced GB timidity;

Jingshu says: 11 Ordinary Officials all depend on GB also; Treat GB Xu w

insomnia; [or combine w / use Wendan Tang;in LV Xu w GB also Xu, LV

cannot Store Hun (Soul), causing insomnia / restlessness; blood not

returning to SP, w unease also when lying down;

In profound teaching, Golden Cabinet says: Use Suanzaoren Tang [Zaoren

2Sheng, Gancao (Zhi) 1Liang, Zhimu, Fuling, Chuanxiong, each 2Liang] to

Tx Xu Taxation / Consumptive Disease Vexation w insomnia...

Note on WEIGHT units used in Herbal Medicine:

1 Sheng = 1 L

1 Liang = 10 Qian (30g, or more precisely, 31.25g)

1 Qian = 10 Fen (3g, or more precisely, 3.125g)

1 Fen = 10 Li [0.3g (300mg), or more precisely 0.313g (313mg)

1 Li = 0.03g (30mg), or more precisely 0.031g (31mg)

Best regards,

Try adding the “=1” (or “=107”) to the end of the link – the link is cut…

As the link is very long, it was broken into bits by mail servers.

I've fixed it and made it tiny: http://tinyurl.com/24cd8v
