Guest guest
Dear Friends, Colleagues and Teachers, An 85 year old male patient had been using in his protocol the medicine in pill form: Ba Ji Yin Yang Wan for the past 3 weeks. The ingredients are: Ba ji tian, Shu di huang, Yin yang huo, Shan yao, Bai shao, Gou ji, Xu duan, Lian zi, Shan zhu yu, Jin ying zi, Gou qi zi, Du zhong, Dang gui. During that 3 week period, he noticed that he started growing breasts. I know that there are some estrogenic herbs in the formula, particularly Dang Gui, but I hadn't seen this response before. Has anyone else come across this phenomenon? BTW, I plan on introducing some androgenic herbs such as Hai Ma over the short term. Comments? Guest guest
Where is the pill manufactured? One of the first things I would look into is the possible contamination of the pill with pharmaceuticals. It seems unlikely that an individual could get enough of any natural hormone from a patent pill given that they are usually way under- dosed WRT raw herbals. -Steve On Jul 17, 2007, at 3:57 AM, yehuda frischman wrote: > Dear Friends, Colleagues and Teachers, > > An 85 year old male patient had been using in his protocol the > medicine in pill form: Ba Ji Yin Yang Wan for the past 3 weeks. Guest guest
Hi Steve, It's a Plum Flower formula from Mayway, so I don't think there is a problem with contamination or alteration: www.mayway.com/general/in_plum_flower.htm I have been treating the patient for about 3 months, and this side effect only occurred after I began Ba Ji Yin Yang Wan. He stopped it last Thursday, so I'm going to check with him to see if the symptom has reversed. Yehuda Stephen Bonzak <stephenbonzak wrote: Where is the pill manufactured?
