Do you have more than one treatment room? How long do you spend with each patient? Thanks, Trish
Guest guest
Hi Trish, I know people that see >150 people per week, all by themselves. Of course they work long days (so do I sometimes). Most of the people in Belgium have the patients in their clinic for 1h. I also work within that time frame, but I have three rooms, two of which I am using now. I probably spend some 25 mins with each patient, perhaps a little more on the first visit. My clinic is quite large (150m2) and I have two floors (each 110m2) that I can also start using if I would want to. I am working out of my house, which I really love. At noon I close the door of the clinic to enter the kitchen where my wife lovingly prepares fantastic Cantonese food : ) A big house also means a big mortgage so I know why I am working these long days : ) However, I must say that I truly love my job. Thanks to all of you posting to lists like these. They help me transform and improve my practice. Thank you, Tom. ---- pippa258 13/07/2007 23:36:06 Chinese Medicine Socialized med and TCM Tom Verhaeghe said: >>I started my clinic in Ingelmunster, Belgium, less than two years ago and have a healthy practice, seeing between 50 and 75 people per week.<< Hi Tom, From what I've read and researched, this is quite good for the TCM field.
