Guest guest
Hi Sarah, I rent space from a chiropractor on the days she's not in the office and, while she's supportive in every way, she doesn't like her office smelling of smoke on her work days. What I find works best is an exhaust fan installed which I had installed by an electrician. I think it ran me about $750 six or seven years ago. Mine is in the basement with vents on the floor of each treatment room. I did it that way because I wasn't able to vent out through the walls. The only problem with the exhaust fan is that it does take about 1/2 and hour to completely clear the smell. Since I have some sensitivity to smoke, that's not quick enough for me personally. So, I also use a Vermont Soy Candle in the treatment room, as that works instantly. I don't recommend just using the candle, however, as the few times I did that (forgetting to turn on the exhaust fan), the office had a stale smell the next day. Hope this helps. Peace, Liz
