Guest guest
Dear Stephen, From the literature that I have read, due to the corrosion resulting from oral chemical reactions, and the tremendous force upon the teeth from chewing, within a few short years as much as 50% of the mercury has left the fillings, and is deposited in major organs, such as the brain, liver and kidneys, slowly poisoning them and causing toxicity, reactivity, chronic immune dysfunction and morbidity. Even after amalgams are replaced, toxicity from old fillings insidiously continues to poison those organs into which it has settled. Mercury is extremely difficult to get rid of, and does not leave those organs unless it is chelated out. That is the process that Chana went through, and after a year of chelation therapy, and periodic checks, the levels of mercury had been significantly dropped. The ability of the body to naturally detox, through the liver particularly, along with using nutrients to augment the process does indeed depend on the efficiency of the eliminative organs, but, IMO, mercury is a unique poison, as its method of toxification through amalgam leakage places a such a burdon that the body is unable to detox from no matter how efficient or healthy. Respectfully, Yehuda stephenmacallan wrote: Hi Yehuda, I made no comment on dysbiosis (but it is an inevitable consequence of heavy metal poisoning) but i did comment `the poor detoxer bit`. that was because 1 year after amalgams were out she still had a high mercury burden. I work a lot with the mercury issue and I reckon that average detox time is 6 to 9 months. If I got a mercury reading after 1 year of detoxing I would assume either a very poor detoxer or a problem with the dentistry and some amlagam was still in situ. I was going to bow out of this because it is clear to me that you have explored that avenue very thorough. Anyway i answered your question. I wish you and yours well.
