Guest guest
Hi, I am looking for a reputable granule herbs source. I've always loved using KPC herbs because I trust them and the herbs are easy to work with. But I've had a lot of trouble for awhile now getting everything I need because the FDA is messing with them so much. I used to use Mayway as my back up, but now I'm not finding that they have what I'm looking for very often either. For instance, right now I need some Chuan Xiong Cha Tiao San and I cannot find it at either place. Anyone have a good referral for getting granular herbs? Thanks! Guest guest
Hi Laura, You can make a custom 5:1 formula with Mayway at 18cents/gram. Or you can encapsulate that formula with them also. Chuan xiong cha tiao san originally had xi xin it it, which is now regulated by the FDA, due to aristolochic acid content. Mayway reformulated their pills to have gui zhi replace the xi xin. That is called " Chuan xiong wan " which is available. Hope this helps, k. On 6/20/07, heylaurag <heylaurag wrote: > > Hi, I am looking for a reputable granule herbs source. Guest guest
I hadn't looked through the new messages before I wrote this--didn't realize how timely my question was to things already talked about! Guest guest
i use min tong and bio essence granules, which i get from golden needle. they are high quality, organic, asia natural herbs, 5:1 concentrate. there's been a recent delay on dang gui due to a container hold by the fda, but other than that, no problems or delays. barry goes to nu herbs to get anything he's low on due to fda holds. hope this helps, k On 6/20/07, heylaurag <heylaurag wrote: > > Hi, I am looking for a reputable granule herbs source. Guest guest
Hey Kath- I also use MinTong - Bioessence granules but they are NOT ORGANIC. and never claimed to be. They are manufactured in Taiwan. Also, I don't think that they have any connection with Asia Natural Herbs which is a San Francisco based company. And Asia Natural buys/sells untreated, unsprayed herbs but they are not organic either. someone correct me if I am wrong. Do any organic herbs come out of China, anybody know?
