We need an urgent referral for a young woman 30-40 y.o. who is a below-the-knee amputee as a result of a motorcycle accident. She is in the Orlando, FL area and is reported to be suicidal because allopathic medicine has nothing to offer her for her phantom limb/stump pain. Her father is one of my clients here onboard, and will be leaving the ship on Friday. If any of you have a good referral for her, please reply ASAP. You are welcome to contact me off list. Thanks! There are several practitioners in Orlando, and also a school. I am surprised that someone has not jumped on this. Open a Google search, type " acupuncture Orlando Florida " and get a good list.
