Guest guest
I'm not sure but I believs he committed what is considered a grievous crime in his country and should be punished by the rules of that country. --- On Mon, 12/22/08, Hanneke <blosshan wrote: Hanneke <blosshan OT: please sign petition to free the shoe thrower Zaidi Date: Monday, December 22, 2008, 9:09 PM Hi,I wanted to draw your attention to this important petition that I recently signed:"The 50,000 Signatures Campaign for Muntataha Zaidi"http://www.ipetitio ns.com/petition/ iwffomuntatharal zaidi?eI really think this is an important cause, and I'd like to encourage you to add your signature, too. Guest guest
I think we foreigners should butt out. This case will go to trial in a court in Iraq and he will be dealt with under the customs and rules that are local to the case. No one that shows that much disrespect to two international leaders, whether you like these leaders or not, should be shown any leniency in my book. Guest guest
In my book murderers of children and devastaters of an entire region (not to mention much of the planet) hiding under the guise of 'law' should be the ones considered disrespectful-----to the law of life---a higher law than international law.... every once in a while someone has the guts to cut through the humungous lies we all live under....it's refreshing....and worthy of respect.--- On Tue, 12/23/08, Craig Rawlings <craig wrote: Craig Rawlings <craigRe: OT: please sign petition to free the shoe thrower Zaidi Date: Tuesday, December 23, 2008, 2:06 AM I think we foreigners should butt out. Guest guest
One of the reasons we are warring against those stone-age cave-dwellers is to free the oppressed in the region from their old laws.. If we show disrespect for their system of law on the stage of international affairs, we thwart our original intent and the loss of American lives will be wasted. We must allow their current laws to be expressed until their society crumbles under the weight of its own absurdity. Also. people in glass houses should not throw shoes! The laws of our own country are being challenged and changed based on the influences of the new world order of the UN (an organization of failed governments) telling us how we should run our country - or is it, ruin our country. I don't appreciate this abuse by the UN and neither would those in other countries appreciate us using our leverage to abort their standing laws. Guest guest
This response makes me shake my head in disbelief even further more. But since this is not a list for politics I will refrain from elaborating as to why I am dumbfounded.
