In 1993 I was sole caregiver for my father. He was receiving transfusions every other month because his hemoglobin kept dropping to 6. I put him on 12 alfalfa tablets per day and for 31/2 years he didn't need any transfusions because his hemoglobin hovered around 11.

Good luck,

Hugh

What about cod liver oil? I always thought that was the best sourse. It can be mixed in with food.

I would venture a good guess it is not the vitamins that are making

him sick but the transfusions. Vitamins do not make you sick as a

rule. I take a raft of them every day and if it was not for vitamins

I would not be here today. Edith
