I totally agree with you that it should never be forgotten - BUT it should be put into the real historical context. What ordinary school books don't tell you is that Hitler was funded by Wall Street Bankers, the same goes for Lenin and Trotsky.DuPont gave IG Farben a patent for rubber and that helped Hitler's war efforts enormosly. IG Farben factories were never bombed although this company practically ran Auschwitz, the same goes for the Ford factory that produced vehicles for the army. While German cities were reduced to rubble and incinerated the production units where the gas for the gas chambers was produced were left intact.Avril Harriman and Prescott Bush, grandfather of the outgoing president, earned huge amounts of money by trading with the enemy - and they were never prosecuted.The Allied Forces knew about the concentration camps in Poland but took their time to get there.A huge number of Nazi scientists and war criminals were allowed to escape, extermination camp doctor Josef Mengele among them.
