Jason, please run a virus check on your computer before posting again. thanks. -- Jason's last message crashes Netscape (not my computer) opened from the site, but his previous posts do not. His latest post does not crash Explorer, nor does it crash Eudora. Maybe an incompatability, not a virus. The mesage looks different than the others. What program did you compose the message in, Jason? Rory

Guest guest
Hi, A girl I work with son was running a fever of 103 for 2 days. The second day she took him to the doctor and he said he had a bad virus that was eating his white blood cells and platelets. I told her I would write and see if anyone knew of any herb that he could take to knock this virus out of his system as the doctor only prescribed rest and fluids. Told her there was nothing else they could do for him. Thanks in advance for any help, Phyllis ---------- Version: 7.0.344 / Virus Database: 267.10.18/89 - Release 9/2/2005
Guest guest
Hey Phyllis, how about Oregano ? I know our Chris knows a bit about that and so does Butch. Sure couldn't kill him but the virus might ? Guest guest
Phyllis, If you will go to the oils herbs, etc. main page at , you can look in the files section. Under Oregano. Butch's previous posts about this wonderful EO are there. I think it's worth doing. Since I've been using the Oregano EO, I've been much healthier! No colds or flu. Guest guest
I find oregano to be so good for so many nasty things .. it is a proven anti-bacterial, and a suspected anti-viral ... I've personally had very good luck with it .. I'll sniff it, diffuse it, put a few drops into some olive oil and make garlic bread and then brush that oil blend on top of it after cooking, or add it to eggs, or a drop or two in some sauce on pasta, or I've even personally put a few drops onto a spoonful of sugar and chased it with water, making sure not to let it touch my mouth (its " spicy " to say the least Also, there is an herbal blend I give my kids from Sunny Mavor and it contains: Echinacea purpurea root, Hyssop herb, Lemon Balm herb, Thyme leaf, Lemongrass herb and Ginger root. As she puts it " Antiviral herbs do not attack viruses per se. Instead they make it difficult for viruses to infect cells. " and that the herbs in that blend " .. are immune stimulants as well as being antiviral. " Goldenseal is anti-viral too. When we're sick around here we do echinacea tincture, about 15 drop for the grown ups and 5 drops for the kids every HOUR while in acute stage .... and just for the record, I prefer using E. angustifolia root to E. purpurea root ... If it were me I'd be mega dosing on Vitamin C, using oregano oil and goldenseal 2-3 times a day, taking my echinacea drops hourly, and making a combination of as many of the herbs mentioned above ... oh, and eating lots of raw garlic, in addition to of course taking in lots of fluids and getting plenty of rest <grinz> Best of luck to the boy! *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com On Behalf Of C. Guest guest
BE CAREFUL AROUND THE HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!! Snopes confirms that this is real and is current: <<<http://www.snopes.com/computer/virus/ups.as The newest virus circulating is the UPS/FedEx Delivery Failure. You will receive an email from UPS Packet Service along with a packet number. NOTE: The word packet is mis-spelled on this line. It will say that they were un-able to deliver a package sent to you on such and such a date. It then asks you to print out the invoice copy attached. DON'T TRY TO PRINT THIS. IT LAUNCHES THE VIRUS! Pass this warning on to all your PC operators at work and home. This virus has caused millions of dollars in damage in the past few days. Snopes confirms that it is real: http://www.snopes.com/computer/virus/ups.asp This is certainly legit, it happened to me this week. Funny thing was I WAS expecting a package to be returned to me. Of course I opened it and it immediately shutdown my computer. Fortunately I had AVG and it caught it. My son fixed it but it took a while.
