Guest guest
I stumbled across this SINECCH and I am totally befuddled after reading about it. It's been around for ten years and is used by plastic surgeons (MD's). While I am delighted that Alpine Pharmaceuticals (www.alpinepharm.com) (a subsidiary of Michael Quinn's Hahnemann Laboratories)has made an inroad for Arnica I must admit that I am shocked by the price of $29.95 for 12 capsules. And then the claim that during testing " all eight of the health food store strengths of Arnica were proven to be ineffective in reducing pain, bruising and swelling. " " SINECCH is the ONLY Arnica Montana dosage regimen that is clinically proven to significantly reduce bruising and swelling after surgery. " They did two randomized, prospective, double blind placebo-controlled clinical trials comparing SINECCH with placebo. So I'm wondering why Hahnemann Laboratories is still offering Arnica! Are they producing the one and only effective Arnica? Michael Quinn does claim that they make ,shall we say, superior homeopathic products. I wonder why he hasn't made any other inroads for other homeopathic remedies over the last ten years? Anyway, SINECCH might be something to prove to non-believers that homeopathy actually works. Who says there isn't money in herbal remedies that can't be patented? Regards, Dawn
Guest guest
As well as Arnica surgeons here used to use Witch Hazel - (Hamamelis Virginica) which also helps. Just because other company's homeopathic remedies are not " officially trialed with " double blind studies " " doesn't mean they don't work - it just means someone else got a foot in the door of officialdom. But at least someone got a foot in the door!
