Guest guest
This time it will pass since they deployed the Army today. - kerley983 Wednesday, October 01, 2008 5:11 AM Nothing the White House would do is for our good we are expendable Tomorrow Senators are scheduled to vote on the"bailout" bill. There is blood flowing right now byBush's minions to get our Senators to sign on thisbill. Unbelievable inducements and sweeteners arebeing offered, as well as arm-twisting, all behindclosed doors. Bush's fellow despots from around theworld are losing money from their bank failures(Fortis, Bradford & Bingley and others) watchingthemselves being dropped from Forbes' BizillionaireList and they want Americans to pony up instead ofadmitting their greed and taking the hit. Francewants to change our monetary system altogether andwants a meeting with Bush to start it. They seemreally pissed. Well, they are French. The Capital Email System is being 'cut back' toprevent its failure. That is code for "don't email us- we'll email you." We must be ready tomorrowmorning. We must be diligent. We must call againand again and again (800-826-3688, 800-828-0498) tolet them know that we will not allow them to vote forThe Theft Of Our Treasury. Don't forget our marketbounced back today regaining about 400 points of the777 points lost yesterday. The sky didn't fall afterall.35 of the 100 Senators are up for reelection inNovember. Check to see if your Senators(s) are upfor reelection at:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Senate_elections,_2008and work this into the conversation when you call. Too, let's not forget these Senators passed thePatriot Act and the Real ID Act, The Bankruptcy Act(2006) and voted to give Bush the power to invadeIraq. Let's stop them - rather than wish we had. If you can squeeze in an IMPEACH, IMPEACH, IMPEACH,that would be excellent! As an added bonus I'm going to ask my 2 Senators tofire Henry Paulson. Here's why: How much can youtrust a guy who, during his watch (12 years as CEO) atGoldman Sachs, laid the groundwork for its ultimatefailure, while personally enriching himself by $700Million Dollars. It took him 12 years to destroyGoldman Sachs. He's only been in our employ for 2years and he's ready to take $700 Billion Dollars fromOur Treasury. Will he use our money to furtherenrich himself - allowing our treasury to becomebankrupt; while handing out our money to the samepeople who helped to drive Goldman Sachs and othersinto the ground? And he asked to be able to do allthis with total autonomy, without oversight of anyone- including courts and/or The Congress. Oh, and withthe ability to give money to any foreign bank(s) ofhis choosing! I can understand his wanting to dothis - my question is - are we insane, evenentertaining that possibility? Have 8 years of seeingthe destruction of our Democracy, our Constitution andthe rest of the world with lies, threats and torturenot taught us to distrust everyone in this"administration?"Let's never lose sight of the fact that CEOs likePaulson hired countless lobbyist to do everything intheir power to keep the Federal Minimum Wage under$7.00/hr. from (flyby News)__(frf._,_.___ Looking for simple solutions to your real-life financial challenges?
