“China: Delayed Report of Tainted Milk Powder Formula Linked to Olympics?”

I’ve just read that the major company producing the tainted milk powder was an Olympics sponsor. I’ve also noticed that they’ve now found the contamination in ice cream and yogurt — which are largely foods eaten by Westerners, not native Chinese in China. Here in the U.S. when a company sponsors an event, they sell their products at the event. I am assuming that the same thing happened at the Olympics. The logical conclusion, then, is that people attending the Olympics may have eaten these tainted products. But no one is speculating about this. Shouldn’t somebody start confirming this and alerting those who attended and may have been exposed?
