Guest guest
anyone care to speculate that even tho the Chinese Govt knew of the contamination for many weeks/ maybe months, they would not announce it or do anything about it because of the Olympics? Or am I just being paranoid? Sanlu, part-owned by the New Zealand dairy giant Fonterra, waited almost six weeks to publicly recall its baby powder, and then apparently acted only after the New Zealand Government appealed to the central government in Beijing to take action. http://www.smh.com.au/news/world/sick-list-soars-in-baby-milk-scandal/2008/09/17/1221330927680.html oh yes there is an Australian joint venture concerned in this as well
